In 1996, Mark Quinton, President of Chief Electric Company opened for Business. After twenty years in the Electrical Industry, working as an Electrician for other Companies, Mark knew it was time to start the kind of Business he would want to work for. While working full time and studying at night, Mark passed his Electrical Contractor License test. So with his last paycheck of $245.00, He started Chief Electric Company out of his home with his old Nissan truck wiring residential homes. Within 2 years, Chief Electric began to grow with 20 employees and numerous vehicles. By 2001 Chief Electric grew to 40 employees and numerous Electrical Projects over $1,000,000.00. In 2003 the Company switched directions, by contracting in the Federal Procurement Sector through the SBA 8a Program.
A Year Later Chief became a General and Electrical Contractor. Chief Electric has completed contracts as both General Contracting and Electrical Contracting in
the Federal Procurement Sector and has completed numerous Projects with Chief Electric flourishing in the Federal Procurement Sector as well as Private Commercial Construction Sector.
